| My name is Ed Cies, and after selling my Photographic business to a British concern in 1999, I have now branched into Video- Filming, Directing and Editing thus I formed Genesee Productions. I have also invented, and am now manufacturing and distributing Doggy+Safe®, the original, patented "Dog Proof Trash Can".

I invented Doggy+Safe®, the original, patented Dog Proof Trash Can because I had the need to keep my German Shepherd Katie out of the trash. I would sometimes forget to put my kitchen trashcan in the pantry or garage when I left the house and I’d always come home to a mess!
What’s more, many dogs have to have painful surgeries or even death from the consumption of trash, so I’m glad that Katie (and now, my new dog Rocky) are protected!
I contacted several large pet retailers and scoured the Internet with NO positive results. So, I invented the Doggy Safe. It has been a commercial success so far, and we are working to get it placed in retailers.
